Welcome to Pitter Patter Kids shoe shop. We are your independent children's footwear specialist based in Uppermill, Saddleworth, Oldham, Greater Manchester.

We stock a variety of brands - Geox, Start-Rite, Froddo, Lelli Kelly, Primigi, Slipfree, Bopy, Bobux, Camper, Ricosta, Petasil, Igor, Shoesme, Skechers all in a variety of seasonable styles - trainers, boots, party shoes, casual shoes, sandals, swim shoes, wellies, slippers, and we have a huge selection of school shoes.  Our footwear crosses all walking stages from pram shoes, to pre-walkers, to First shoes, to true walking and covers a range of sizes and widths, you can be sure we have you covered.

In-store, our expert Start-Rite trained shoe fitters are on hand to offer a professional fitting service which can be booked online but walk-ins are more than welcome and hopefully we can accommodate you.

When you come to us we will provide you with a warm friendly and relaxing atmosphere in which we endeavour to take our time with your little treasures and find them footwear which is sustainable durable and appropriate for their needs.

If you are visiting us by car we are nestled in the heart of Uppermill village within the main park carpark and below the opticians 2020 on the High Street. There is plenty of free parking in the village, we are in the grounds of the park carpark, or there is a main carpark at the doctor's across the way or 3 other carpars at the museum, civic hall and swimming baths. There is also plenty of on and off street parking. We are roughly 15minutes drive off the M60  and M62 meaning our customers from Manchester, Bolton, Leeds, Stockport, Huddersfield, Prestwich, Middleton can get to us easily. For our customers coming to us from closer towns such as Ashton-Under Lyne, Slaithwaite, Marsden,  Holmfirth, Chadderton, Royton we a roughly a 20minutes drive.

There are a few local buses that use the main high street in Uppermill as its the main route to and from Oldham town Centre. Our shop is located just off the main High Street in the Uppermill Park area and the closest bus stop is a 1minute walk. Popular bus routes are: 84, 184, 350. Other services include: 352, 356, 784, 822, 828, 829, S84, S350

By train: Greenfield train station is the closest and this covers the Manchester ,Huddersfield, Leeds line. It would be a 20minute walk or a bus.

By Tram: Mumps Oldham Tram Stop is the closest which is the Oldham to Manchester route, it would then be necessary to use the bus
